Safe Mail is now in pre-Alpha stage

Safe Mail, A highly secured, millitary grade email app for ubuntu touch, has just reached pre-alpha stage.

The UI now uses Conditional Layout like +Michael Hall asked. It changes layout based on width switching between desktop, tablet and phone. Each Layout is optimized for the screen size and input method. Now on to adding functionality XD... cant wait!

Update time!

With 24 or so days left, I figured I should get on with the UI and start adding the functionalities. So I pushed 90% complete UI mock up today at Launchpad.

So how to play with it?

First off, you can change the properties isPhone, isDesktop or isTablet to change form factors and check out the different UI layouts. Any suggestion would be marvelous.

Secondly, even if there is no functionality, the GUI idea is 90% complete.

Thirdly, you can change values in dummy.xml to see how different values look in the UI.

Build Task Manager Learn XML!

As the name suggests I made a project for me to learn reading, writing, adding, removing and changing individual xml elements with qt and c++. Anyone who needs to use such a class will be benefited. And it is also very minimalistic and simple to use...

I start this blog with the news of my ubuntu touch email app for the Ubuntu App Showdown.

I have uploaded the Preliminary UI Mockup to launchpad.

It will be a fully converged app running with different ui for the desktop, tablet and phone.
